Power up your Marketing! Marketing Institute Cork to launch calendar of events at Atrium, City Hall
This event is free of charge and open to all to attend, network and meet our national Chairman as well as the MII Cork committee and members.
The evening commences at 6pm with a wine reception sponsored by Barry & Fitzwilliam hosted in The Atrium at City Hall.
This is also an ideal opportunity to give us some feedback about who you would like to hear from during the year and what events you’d find beneficial.
Chairman of MII Cork, Pio Fenton will open the event highlighting the upcoming events calendar and how essential marketing is for any business.
Our national Chairperson of the Marketing Institute of Ireland (MII), Paula Murphy, who is also responsible for Brand Operations at Vodafone, will then delve into capturing the ‘Customer Voice in Decision Making’ while focusing on the importance that marketing has to business in a consumer focused market.
Paula is a highly regarded speaker with an exceptional track record and experience from a number of industries, including media, FMCG and retail. Before joining Vodafone in 2010, Paula was Group Marketing Director at Independent Newspapers. Her previous roles have included Commercial Manager with Superquinn, Marketing Manager at Kerry Foods, and she has also worked for Johnson & Johnson, Pizza Hut (UK) and United Biscuits Restaurants (UK).
She joined the MII in 1994, and was made a Fellow in 2008. She is a graduate of the College of Marketing and Design and has a BSc in management from Trinity College, Dublin.
