Southern is a well known and highly reputable advertising agency based in Cork and is looking to hire an experienced and ambitious ‘Account Executive’ to focus on handling existing client requirements to join a busy team.
As Account Executive you will have the opportunity to work with existing clients planning /booking advertising in various media on a day to day basis – working to tight deadlines.
· The ideal candidate will have around 2+ years experience in placing /taking responsibility for ads including administration across all media mainly press.
· The successful candidate requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in computer skills – in particular Apple Mac.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required including proofreading.
· Have a background of working in a busy environment managing ‘day to day’ bookings and meeting tight deadlines, also working well under pressure.
· Be passionate about providing a high level of service to clients.
· The role may suit someone wishing to work 3 days per week.
· Salary in line with experience, terms, contract.
· Also participation in campaign brain storming, planning and developing client proposals and assisting with presenting when required.
