Alternatives Marketing Watch: Mid 2014

This report is the results of the 2014 Marketing Salary Survey jointly executed by The Marketing Institute of Ireland and Alternatives. This is the most substantial survey of its kind ever carried out in the Irish marketing profession and with 1237 respondents; the level of participation has been exceptional.

While the main focus of the survey was to establish salary benchmarks, you will also find insights into the employment context, with key perspectives on employee engagement and satisfaction levels. We were pleased to uncover an overall positive viewpoint in the marketing profession across over 20 industry sectors, reflecting our own view of recovery and growth.

Fortunately, the survey affirms a marketplace that has seen significantly improved business conditions for the second year running. Consumer confidence has strengthened and the majority of companies that have participated in the survey state that they are doing better than last year.
