Laura Lynch Appointed Chief Marketing Officer, Bank of Ireland
Bank of Ireland has confirmed the appointment of Laura Lynch as Group Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with immediate effect, with Laura having held the role in an interim capacity from June 2021.
Laura brings a significant depth of internal and external experience to the role having previously held the roles of Head of Brand and Sponsorship, Group Head of Customer Experience, Head of Youth Banking and, most recently, Head of Segments and Propositions within Bank of Ireland, along with a range of senior marketing roles in eir and Ireland on line.
In her role as CMO, Laura is accountable for marketing and customer propositions across the Bank of Ireland Group, including Retail Ireland, UK, Corporate and Markets businesses, with a focus on increasing brand consideration, improving customer experience, using data to transform engagement with customers and driving new areas of growth through innovation, partnerships, and digital transformation.
Commenting on her appointment, Gavin Kelly, CEO Retail Ireland, Bank of Ireland said:

Laura began her career in marketing at Ireland Online, Ireland’s first ISP, creating the brand and refining the customer proposition as a first to market start up. In addition to a BA in International Marketing from AIT, Laura also holds an MA in Cultural Change from UCD, is a member of the Marketing Institute and is currently completing a Global Marketing Leadership programme with Berkeley University California.
