All Ireland Marketing Champion 2022

Mary Lambkin is Professor of Marketing at the Smurfit Graduate Business School, University College Dublin, where she has educated many generations of marketing graduates over the years through her teaching on marketing management and strategy. She has also written widely on marketing strategy in academic journals as well as professional publications and is well known internationally as an influential marketing academic. She has also been actively involved in the marketing profession throughout her career, having served on the Councils of both the Marketing Society and the Marketing Institute at various times; she was the first woman to Chair the Marketing Society. She is also involved in the wider business world through consulting and non-executive directorships, sitting on the boards of several international companies in banking and financial services including Citibank Europe and Barclaycard, as well as a number of public sector organisations. Mary is also well known in the media as a regular commentator on marketing and business issues.
