Young Marketer Award
This award category has been designed to give recognition to a talented individual who has 3-4years’ experience. Graduates on graduate programs are eligible and highly encouraged.
The nomination should show the impact that the individual has had on the business. This person should be a “one to watch” with star quality, who demonstrates, initiative, creativity, imagination, adaptability and has a passion for marketing. They should also be driven to succeed with clear goals and ambitions.
Your submission should talk to their talents, personality, application of marketing principles and its impact on the business
The judging panel will look for clear demonstration of how this young and upcoming marketeer has made an impact and clearly demonstrated marketing best practice.

Pat Spillane Suntory Beverage & Food
At the age of 24, Pat Spillane took his place on two high performing teams, balancing intercounty football with his role on the Lucozade Energy team. His commitment to both was unwavering. Pat recognised that the competition was bringing a strong challenge to Lucozade Energy’s position as #1 and in response, saw and sold an opportunity that would ultimately drive new growth and build relevance amongst an evasive youth audience, exceeding growth objectives for the Lucozade Energy brand. In 2022, Pat was recognised with 2 Suntory leadership awards and a promotion to Brand Manager – Lucozade Sport.

Lauren McKay Diageo
Lauren joined Diageo as a graduate and was identified for her agility, creativity and leadership and quickly became a pivotal member of the high performing Guinness Ireland Team. Lauren took the reins of business priority projects beyond her role: The Guinness Six Nations, Diageo’s biggest sponsorship, and Guinness in Summer, where Lauren drove digital and experiential transformation, challenging the business to think differently. Lauren’s leadership and true ownership of her projects has led to not only phenomenal performance for Guinness, but has been recognised internally too, as she has since been promoted to Senior Brand Manager.

Niamh Chambers Three Ireland
Niamh joined Three as an Intern in 2018 with passion and ambition to get stuck into the Marketing world. Since then, she worked her way up from supporting to leading significant Marketing workstreams including managing Above the Line Marketing campaigns to drive brand and commercial performance, an example seen in the Three Bill Pay campaign in 2022. Since joining Three, Niamh’s talent has been recognised both internally and externally, promoted twice, and shortlisted for Cannes Young Lions twice to name some achievements. With all projects, Niamh brings her creativity, vibrancy, and strategic thinking, and displays campaign management beyond her years.

Ruth Gill An Post
Ruth is a rising star and has a dynamic set of skills with a strategic and insight-led approach. Ruth has demonstrated results across commercial, brand, business and media objectives and has driven results when collaborating with our agencies to ensure we get the best output. Ruth is constantly reviewing our strategy with a hands-on approach to ensure our communications remain relevant with our audience and has a particular love for the deep understanding of a problem, unearthing of insights and the use of those in the creation of ideas.

Amy O'Reilly An Post
Amy O’Reilly is a rising star in An Post. Having started on the graduate programme, Amy took a massive step up to lead marketing activity for the An Post Money current account. Her adaptability, focus on excellence and passion for the customer set her apart. Her ability to deliver commercial results marks her out as one to watch. She has delivered unprecedented success for An Post during a once in a generation event in the Irish current account category. Amy has all the qualities to make a brilliant future CMO – deep understanding of customers, she is creative, collaborative and commercial.
