Brand Campaign Award Winner: Woodies
Woodie’s captured the spirit and hearts of a nation at a time when we needed some uplift the most during Christmas 2020. Through crafting a heart-warming story and developing a campaign many people globally could connect to, Woodie’s were able to further establish acts of homemaking into the lives of many. Ranked as the best performing advert of Christmas 2020, the sharing was incredible to see given the minuscule media budget compared to other brands. Beyond this engagement, there was an incredible business impact with sales targets smashed and the biggest growth at Christmas the brand has ever seen.

Intergrated Marketing Award Winner: SSE Airtricity
Developed with our agency partners in Javelin, this activity launched in 2020 as phase two of a campaign to assert our new brand positioning. Our category defining approach has to date been the most successful campaign we have deployed since our launch in this market many years ago. It is also part of an ongoing journey as we seek to invite increasing numbers of customers to enjoy the benefits of wind energy. And to join us in changing the world. This is Generation Green.
Marketing Team of the Year Award Winner: SuperValu
The SuperValu Marketing team was set up for success in 2020 through our culture change programme of Fresh Eyes. When the pandemic hit, we set the goal of leading the market through being agile and insight led planning. We were first to market across a number initiatives including COVID response leadership, volunteering with the GAA, cooking inspiration and value for money. Each team member had the necessary tools, felt safe, appreciated, and valued. This in turn led to an augmenting mindset that drove innovation and dynamism which resulted in SuperValu becoming the number 1 retailer in the Irish grocery market.
