Executive Diploma in Data Protection for Marketers
The Executive Diploma course has been developed in response to the General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR) legislation which came into effect on 25th May 2018.
All marketing professionals have now all been affected by the implementation of GDPR. The legislation has a significant impact on the way marketers approach their work and how organisations obtain, store, manage or process the personal data of EU citizens.
The course will ensure you have the skills, knowledge and competencies required to understand and be fully compliant for GDPR.

Duration: Part-time - The course will take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and run for 8 weeks.

Fees: Marketing Institute Members: €1,200
Non-Members: €1,400 - includes one year MII Membership subject to meeting criteria

Robert Dunne
Robert is a barrister in Ireland and a qualified attorney-at-law in New York since 2011. Robert specialises in data protection and employment law; lecturing in TU Dublin on, inter alia, the Masters in Digital Marketing and Analytics course specifically dealing with the law and regulation surrounding digital marketing. Along with this Robert has advised multi-national and large Irish enterprises on their data protection policies and procedures, including various hotel groups, retail companies and financial institutions in Ireland.

Rachel is a solicitor in the employment law group at Arthur Cox. She helps organisations prepare for the implementation of GDPR and deal with data protection issues as they arise in practice.
She advises clients on all arising out of the employer-employee relationship including investigations, litigation, the termination of employment contracts, recruitment, redundancies, atypical workers legislation, settlement agreements and unfair dismissal/discrimination complaints, and employment aspects of corporate transactions
