Mintel's 2019 Trends give you the insight to put you one step ahead when it comes to understanding what is driving consumer behaviour over the next 12 months and beyond.Our experts around the globe identified the most important Trends that will impact your business and customers, and shape how markets and demographic groups develop.

Mintel's Director of Trends EMEA, Simon Moriarty, will be presenting the first three of the 6 Global Trends - Redefining Adulthood, Total Wellbeing and Challenge Accepted. A panel discussion and Q&A will follow. The Mintel analysts on the panel will be: Brian O'Connor, Emma McGeown and James Wilson.

1) Redefining Adulthood: The concept of what it means to be an adult has changed beyond recognition, and people are adapting to lives that don't fit the mould.

 2) Total Wellbeing: Consumers are treating their bodies like an ecosystem and seeking solutions that complement their personal health and evolving needs.

Simon Moriarty is Director of Trends EMEA at Mintel, overseeing consumer insight content and client service across the region. With over a decade's experience in market intelligence, Simon has previously managed Mintel's China, Brazil and India consumer research, EMEA leisure, travel and foodservice Reports, and was product manager for two of Mintel's flagship websites. He has presented to clients in a number of industries and has appeared in national and trade press as a spokesperson for Mintel's Trends. He was recently a keynote speaker at Tug Life IV as part of Tech London week, alongside presenters from Google, Twitter, Spotify and Cambridge Analytica.
