The Times, Sunday Times and The Sun set out to develop an innovative new digital proposition that would provide today’s tech savvy news consumers with the type of compelling editorial content they want, in a format that works for them and importantly at a price they were willing to pay. What came next was an innovative new digital newspaper for users of mobile devices and a transformative new business model.

The Truth About Content – Understanding the role of content and how you can leverage it to enhance your brand strategy.

First it was, ‘we need viral’, then it was ‘we need social’ and now we have ‘we need content’. We have all either said those words, or been on the receiving end of them in the guise of a brief. For a long time now, the accepted wisdom has been that consumers want a relationship with their brands. That, in order for that relationship to work, brands need to stand for something, give consumers more or become a partner.

But is this actually true? Is a one-size-fits-all philosophy really the right path for brands to take in a convergent world. We will examine how to navigate the minefield of content and understand where content sits within your brand strategy and what it can really contribute to your overall business.
