RTÉ (Raidió Teilifís Éireann) is Ireland's national public-service media organisation. A leader in Irish media, RTÉ provides comprehensive, cost-effective, free-to-air media services to the public in Ireland and interested audiences internationally.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will have specific responsibility, as part of the marketing team, for developing world class marketing communications that will grow audiences for all of RTÉ’s services.

The successful candidate will champion creativity and have a consumer-first mindset in developing integrated marketing communications campaigns for RTÉ. We are looking for an individual that has comprehensive understanding of all aspects of marketing including brand strategy and creative. The successful candidate will also have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of media and specifically digital.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Plan, schedule and execute an agreed marketing plan over the year covering a full spectrum of marketing activities

  • Work closely with other teams across divisions to develop and deliver a fully integrated plan across all channels

  • Maintain the integrated planning calendar for marketing working with multiple stakeholders

  • Write briefs for our in house creative agency and develop through the line brand creative

    assets within guidelines

  • Input into the development & implementation of the annual marketing strategy

  • Support the team in reporting on data, learnings and ROI analysis from marketing

    campaigns

  • Support the members of the team in all administration and financial management tasks

  • Monitor & implement SEO and PPC strategies to drive traffic to the specific platforms to

    which you are assigned.

  • Create and maintain website pages where required to support a campaign

  • Carry out all other duties as required and participate as a full member of the Marketing

    Team by supporting different work projects, as required, from time to time

 

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Relevant 3rd level marketing qualification with a minimum of 3 years relevant marketing experience with a particular emphasis on digital marketing

  • Must have demonstrable experience in brand management and implementing integrated marketing campaigns, including media buying

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams in a matrix environment

  • Experience in Database Management, Analytics and reporting on Digital Marketing campaigns

  • Experience using analytics to track, evaluate, and report on marketing campaigns

  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools including social media, PPC and SEO

  • Solid knowledge of website analytic tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture,

    WebTrends)

  • CRM such as email marketing experience and email systems management an advantage

This position will be offered on a 1 year full-time fixed-term basis on the Admin Grade 2 salary scale (€33,199 - €46,331).
