Jenny leads up our Learning & Development team and ensures our training programmes are aligned to our member’s needs. Jenny is a senior marketing professional, with over 15 years’ experience in corporate organisations, including Davy, EY and Smurfit. She holds a BA in History & German, a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations, a Diploma in Strategic Marketing and recently received a first class honours in the MSc in Digital Marketing & Analytics.
Rachel Bowers, Events Executive
Rachel has recently joined our events team having just completed her MSc in Marketing Management. Rachel has a background in marketing and events, previously working at The American Ireland Fund in Boston, and at Web Summit on their international events team.
Marie-Therese Campbell, Media And Events Manager
Marie-Therese leads our events team and delivers our major events including DMX Dublin, the All Ireland Marketing Awards and the CMO Summit. She’s also the go-to person for media enquiries and for advertisers and sponsors seeking to reach our marketing decision-maker community. A graduate of UCD, Marie Therese spent a significant part of her career with Coca Cola, and she managed all Coca Cola branding at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
Aoife Doran, Events Executive
Aoife joined The Marketing Institute events team having just completed her Bsc Degree in Event Management. Aoife helps with the running of DMX, The All Ireland Marketing Awards, CMO Summit our Marketing Breakfast Series and partnered events. Aoife has clocked up experience in events over the last five years and is looking forward to starting her career here at The MII.
Monica Hallinan, Events Executive
Monica runs the entry process for the large-scale All Ireland Marketing Awards programme and plays a key role in delivering our Awards gala night as well as our member-only CMO Summit for Ireland’s top senior-level marketing executives. With a career background in operations and product management in Vodafone, Monica is super-efficient, has a keen sense of customer focus and is a great team player!
Tara Holland, Membership Development Manager
Tara leads our membership team and is focused on ensuring our member proposition and strategies meet the needs of the modern marketing profession. She’s a specialist in customer engagement, and managed the rollout of our highly successful Corporate Partnership programme. Tara brings 20 years experience in marcomms and brand marketing gained in the financial services sector both in Ireland and abroad. She holds the MSc in Digital Marketing & Analytics.
Mike Hollingsworth, Membership Accounts Executive
Michael dedicates most of his time in the Marketing Institute to dealing with finance queries and accounts admin-related tasks. With a varied career background spanning from retail to IT processes and development (the latter of which he particularly enjoys to play around with in his free time) Michael also helps implement streamlined intuitive systems in our accounts department.
Rose Ellen Kavanagh, Membership Executive
Rose Ellen is our longest-standing team member, having recently celebrated 20 years with us. Rose’s experience spans various areas of the Institute, and she is now our membership executive, a role in which she is in constant contact with members, ensuring they get the most from the opportunities of their membership. Rose also looks after our Qualified Marketer Register, and runs the examinations for this in third-level colleges around the country.
Mary Kennedy, Financial Controller
Mary is the Marketing Institute’s financial controller, and the contact point for all queries relating to finance. Her career background is in accounts and bookkeeping in a variety of settings, and she has a strong sense of quality management. Mary prepares our budgets and financial reports and statements, and maintains all our accounting records. She liaises with our auditors and ensures best practice in all of our financial dealings.
Cecilia is part of the membership team, and looks after our growing list of corporate partners, who are often blue-chip companies with significant professional marketing teams. Cecilia came to the Institute with a career background in retailing, and as a long-serving staff member she has worked across various areas of the Institute, most recently in events where she became well-known to members. Cecilia also manages our office facilities and services.
Gaëlle Robert, Marketing Communications Executive
Gaëlle looks after the Institute’s marketing communications, including our newsletters, blog and social media channels. A multi-lingual first class honours graduate in Marketing from Dublin Business School, Gaëlle’s experience is primarily in B2B marketing, spanning the technology, advertising and print sectors. With a passion for writing and all things creative, and particular expertise in digital, Gaëlle brings a professional approach to our marcomms.
Niamh Tighe, Training Coordinator
Niamh has joined the Learning & Development team having just completed her BA (Hons) in Business Studies and Marketing achieving a first class honours. As training coordinator Niamh is involved in the facilitation of all MII training programmes and courses, in particular the Executive Diploma in Strategic Digital Marketing. Here Niamh always seeks to make improvements to ensure the best service is given to MII members. With great interest in digital marketing Niamh is looking forward to building her career at MII.
