Marketing Breakfast Series with Mark Henry
We are delighted to invite the marketing community to join us in our 2021 Marketing Breakfast Series in partnership with MCCP. Joining us for our November Breakfast is Mark Henry, Central Marketing Director, Tourism Ireland
In Fact: Why You Should Be Optimistic About Ireland’s Post-Covid Recovery
Mark Henry’s new book, In Fact: An Optimist’s Guide to Ireland at 100, chronicles Ireland’s progress and identifies 100 remarkable achievements of our first century as an independent nation. As we seek to recover from the impact of Covid19, the facts show that we have weathered greater economic storms in the past and recovered stronger each time.
Mark will outline some of the remarkable shifts in our economy and in our society that were underway before the pandemic. He will explore the four factors that account for Ireland’s strong progress, and the leading psychological biases that prevent us from easily accepting how far we have come. While there is still much to be done, as you will see, Ireland is better placed to recover now than it has ever been. We have every reason to be optimistic about our future.
The Marketing Breakfast Series was a sequence of early morning events held in central Dublin exploring marketing themes and practices in a wide range of different areas. Due to the challenges of 2020, the series went online. Our collaboration with MCCP this year will bring an overall theme of “Navigating Recovery” to be spread across eight breakfast events with top speakers from the profession.
