The Rainbow in the Storm – Pride 2026 Industry Kick Off
Event Description
The Rainbow in the Storm - Pride in an Era of Change
Our world is evolving, how do Pride campaigns evolve with it?
Pride has always been about change. With its beginnings in protest, it has been a catalyst for movements that have changed the lives of many. But now, when the world around us feels like it’s changing more than ever, what does that mean for Pride? And, as a public-facing industry, how do we continue to keep the power of evolution moving in the right direction?
ADvocates Ireland have, once again, joined forces with Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre, the Marketing Institute of Ireland and TU Dublin to kick off Pride 2026 with a morning of riveting discussion. Join us on Wednesday 15th April 8.30am-11am in The Courtyard, TU Dublin, Aungier Street for a look at how we can authentically and passionately continue to support the LGBTQ+ community through Pride campaigns.
The morning will feature a keynote by Colm O’Gorman – activist, author and former director of Amnesty International – as well as talks and discussion around AI and how it impacts representation, featuring some of our industry’s leaders in collaborations and culture. This is our third year of Pride kick offs and each has proven both insightful and inspiring.
All are welcome and we encourage everyone who is thinking of attending to grab an extra ticket for your work pal. Pop a ticket on their desk (or send it to their email) and make a morning of it!
We are delighted to be using this year’s event to raise vital funds for Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre, all money raised from tickets will be going directly to them.
Pride is a protest and it has never been more important our industry shows our support. As a great philosopher once said: “let the storm rage on, the cold never bothered me anyway”.
