AI Masterclass in Brief Writing

This is a two hour, platform agnostic course designed for marketing professionals who already use AI tools and want to apply them more deliberately to one of the most fragile points in marketing work – the ability to write a solid brief and give clear direction. 

Rather than focusing solely on writing better briefs faster, the course combines efficiency gains with improving the thinking and alignment that happen before a brief is written, helping participants save time while raising the quality of briefs.

What You'll Learn

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

Understand why briefs fail in practice, even when templates and processes exist

Use AI to clarify strategy, priorities, and assumptions before briefing begins

Build a shared, grounded evidence base to speed up brief creation

Use AI to stress-test briefs and briefing inputs before sharing them

Apply AI responsibly when working with transcripts and sensitive context

The session blends hands-on exercises and practical demonstrations. Exercises are designed to work across different AI platforms and focus on transferable capabilities.

This course is designed for:

Marketing managers and senior marketers

Client-side, agency, and in-house practitioners involved in briefing and approvals

Professionals who experience recurring friction around briefs, rework, and alignment

Participants are expected to have baseline familiarity with generative AI tools. The course does not cover AI fundamentals.

What You'll Need

The session assumes participants have access to at least one mainstream AI tool such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or equivalent.
