Good Life 2030 Ireland citizen vision research report launch will share how Irish people really feel about the role of advertising and what they dream of in the future
Join the Good Life 2030 Ireland webinar to find out more about the new project, its citizen vision report and how you can get involved.
The modern advertising industry has played a key role in driving an emphasis on a ‘good life’ of more – stuff, status & wealth. This vision is hitting major flaws as the planet’s living systems cannot keep pace. The Good Life 2030 project was created to help shape a new version of a ‘good life’ in order to meaningfully tackle the climate emergency.
The Good Life 2030 Ireland citizen vision report explores what people believe a ‘good life’ looks like for them in 2030, and the role of marketing and advertising in supporting this.
The report finds that citizen visions align with low-carbon lifestyles: a life of connection to self, others and nature. The project looks to 2030 as a critical milestone for halving carbon emissions that Ireland is currently not on track to meet.*
The Good Life 2030 Ireland project is funded by Creative Ireland as part of the Creative Climate Action Fund, and created by Purpose Disruptors (an organisation founded by ex ad-industry leaders, on a mission to meaningfully tackle climate change) and THINKHOUSE (a B Corp certified, full-service, digital-first marketing company for progressive brands that care about people and the planet).
